Frequently Asked Questions

Q – What is a Freelance Administrator?

A – A Freelance Administrator may also be known as a Virtual Assistant, I work with small businesses doing admin tasks that they either don’t know how to do, don’t like doing or don’t want to do.  They outsource their necessary but time-consuming tasks to me, so they are freed up to focus on their core business and do what they do best.

Q – Why do I need a Freelance Administrator?

A – What is your aim? What do you want to achieve today?

  • Increase your efficiency and profitability?
  • Spend more time talking to your clients/customers?
  • Improve your productivity?
  • Sorting out your business admin?

I’m sure you wouldn’t choose the last option.  You can’t be a master of everything, nor should you try to be.  Spend your time in your areas of strength, admin may not be included in that?

I am a freelance administrator and help small businesses get organised with their admin, so they can grow their own business.  I am skilled and experienced in many aspects of business support and by outsourcing your admin to me you put yourself back in control of your business, with the freedom to focus on what you do best.

Q – How will I save money outsourcing my admin to a Freelance Administrator?

A – When you consider the costs associated with employing staff, going Freelance will be cheaper for you.

  • You only pay for the work I do, and I have flexible working schedules, available outside normal office hours.
  • No payroll, tax or national insurance costs, no pension contributions, no holiday pay or sick pay, no agency fees or insurance.
  • No training costs.
  • You don’t need to supply office space and equipment (office furniture, computers, telephones or stationery)
  • Peace of mind that your tasks are completed professionally, confidentially and on time.

Q – How does having a Freelance Administrator providing remote support work in practice?

A – The internet allows me to support you and your business from my home office in Newquay.  I offer an initial free consultation face to face (if possible) and then we can communicate however you prefer via telephone, video call or email, on a daily or weekly basis.

You advise me of your requirements, and I deliver your brief, by an agreed deadline, allowing you to get on with your life.  Your work will be completed quickly, accurately and to the highest quality.

Q – What about Data Protection and Confidentiality?

A – It’s reassuring for my current and potential clients, that Kernow Office Angel is registered with the Information Commissioner Office (ICO) and that I have a data protection framework in place.
